Religious background
Sridhar Vadhyar, also known as Brihaspati, hails from Thiruvaheendirapuram, situated in the Cuddalore district of TamilNadu, India. Thiruvaheendirapuram is renowned as one of the 108 divyadesam(holy shrines of Lord Vishnu). For more that 40 years, my father served as an associate to the head priest(sannadhi parcharakar) at the Devanatha swami temple, Cuddalore.
Influences in Education
I underwent five years of rigorous training at the "Srirangam Srimad Andavan Ashramam "
Pathashala (vedic school/gurukulam), honing discipline and knowledge.
Agamam-Pancharathra Agamam- Received Deekshai(ritual preparation or consecration
for a religious ceremony) from Kancheepuram, Tamilnadu.
Professional Background
Commenced my professional journey as an associate in Chennai, India, in 1995, actively participating in all temple rituals, festivals, domestic and public ceremonies.With over 25 years of extensive experience in Poorva Prayogam, I have officiated approximately 200 marriages and conducted more than 200 ceremonies including Upanayanam, Gruhapravesam, Seemandham. I have been actively involved in Kalyanotsavam(the celestial marriage of the deities) and Kumbhabhishekam (also known as Samprokshanam) ceremonies, contributing to their successful execution in numerous temples.
I have been offering online and phone services for Amavasya/Grahanam(solar/lunar eclipse) tharpanam rituals and also share my recordings of the same to numerous of my clients around the world.
As also served as "Priest" at the Hindu Temple of Central Illinois for six years, My self a dedicated person in providing the utmost services to both the temple and the community.
Balancing tradition and innovation, I have been providing training on Naalayira Divyaprabandham , catering to all age groups through both virtual and in person sessions.I have extensive experience and devotion to conducting temple rituals, ceremonies, and training others in Naalayira Divyaprabandham.It’s amazing to see how i have a balanced tradition and innovation by offering both in-person and virtual services, reaching clients worldwide. My work is undoubtedly a significant contribution to preserving and sharing cultural and religious practices.
